MELISSA IS ON TOUR NOW WITH HER “RISE TOUR” AND WILL HIT THE ROAD WITH WYNONNA JUDD THIS SUMMER, ADDITIONAL TOUR DATES JUST ANNOUNCED

New York, NY (March 27, 2026) – Rise, the highly anticipated new album from Grammy winning rockstar and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee Melissa Etheridge is out NOW via Sun Records. Recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, Rise is Etheridge’s first studio album in five years and is her most personal project to date.

The album features eleven new heartfelt and triumphant songs - including a duet with Chris Stapleton on “The Other Side of Blue” - written and co-produced by Etheridge, who worked with Grammy winning producer, Shooter Jennings. Of working with Melissa, Shooter said, "Getting to work with Melissa was one of the greatest times of my life. From the moment she walked into the studio the first time I met her, she exuded such light and wisdom, I was floored. She’s one of the greatest rock and roll artists of our lifetime and an incredible songwriter as well.”

Praised for its powerful songwriting and emotional depth, Rise has already earned early acclaim, with CBS Mornings’ host Gayle King calling the music “fantastic” when she spoke with Melissa earlier this month.

Today, Melissa also unveils the official music video for “The Other Side of Blue” which features compelling visuals that complement the song’s heartfelt message of love and resilience. In true Melissa fashion, she pairs her powerful music with an equally as powerful message, bringing attention to causes that are close to her heart - this time supporting the Wounded Warrior Project. The video for “The Other Side of Blue” kicks off by reminding viewers that nearly 2 million US Military Veterans suffer from PTSD, then quickly reminds us that music can help soothe those demons.

In addition to her solo dates, Etheridge will join Wynonna Judd for their “RAISED ON RADIO” co-headline tour this summer! These two musical trailblazers are teaming up for an unforgettable tour, bringing fans their chart-topping hits and signature sounds that made them two of the most celebrated artists of all time.
